Reflection
This conversation is about us talking about our animals. One thing that changed for me from the first video is that in my head it was a more natural conversation. In the first conversation I felt like I was tied to the paper and the script while in this conversation I felt a lot more free. As long as we were saying somewhat in the same subject I feel like I could understand and have a proper conversation. This is a major growth for me. Having a conversation where you are not 100% restricted by the script not only improved my communication skills but boosts my confidence when speaking Spanish. By no means am I at the point where I can jump into any conversation but I am slowly getting to that point. I am extremely excited to be getting closer to that point. One thing that I struggled with for preparing for the conversation was my pronunciation. This is one of my biggest struggles when it comes to speaking Spanish. It is even a struggle for me sometimes in english. This is a skill that is hard to improve by myself. I plan to improve this by having basic conversation in Spanish with my family in Spanish and listing to a Spanish radio station in the car. Preparing for this video we started out just reading the script in our group of three. At the time I thought this was the best way to get it done. As soon as we put down the paper and tried to have a conversation everything flowed and felt infinitely more natural. Soon we were having the conversation in no time. I would like to talk my partners Hannah Davis and Maddie Iwanyc for all doing their part and helping me when I needed it. For the next video I do not mind who my partner is, as long as they are hardworking, willing to be challenged, and to be able to get it done.
