During this project my group studied opioids. As a group we decided to make 3 main products, a jeopardy board, an individual writing piece, and an individual infographic. There was 5 of us in our group so we split opioids into 5 different parts. Opioid industry, effects on body, different opioids, addiction/abuse, and withdraw. I specifically studied the addiction/abuse subset of opioids. I was also in charge of designing the graphics for laser cutting, and creating and managing the website http://opioidinfo.space/. The website is where we put information about our topics so the people playing the game could find information and refer back to it later. We all put our writing pieces and infographics on here.
I am most proud of our main product, the jeopardy board. I am most proud of this because our group went through compromise and compromise to get the final idea. We used magnets to hold the questions onto the board so you can easily remove them. All the wood was laser cut and sanded down. Overall the whole board turned out really professional in my opinion and made for a great interactive way to share the information we learned. If I could do this project again I would change a few things about it. One part of our project that I think we could've improved on is how we worded our questions and answers on the jeopardy board. I felt like we decided the questions fairly early in the project and didn't really critique anyone's questions or answers. On my part I think I should of has someone look over the files I was laser cutting before we cut them, there were a few small errors. |
