Ski Dubai Has the largest indoor skiing in the world. This is Dubai. Last year (2015) Dubai had 14.26 million people visit the country, for comparison Dubai has only 2.4 million native residents. Besides oil exports, Dubai's biggest biggest industry is tourism. In 2011, Dubai made almost 4.5 billion dollars on tourism alone. Dubai has flourished since 1960. In 1960 Dubai's population was 60,000, that's more than 200 times! Dubai can reach up to 126 degrees fahrenheit during the summer, yes they have air conditioned buildings but walking around can be a hassle in summer months, but you can always stop and go skiing when it is 120 degrees out to cool off! So pack your bags and head off to Dubai! |
